What happened?

FC Zürich is reacting to the poor start to the season and is dismissing Franco Foda as well as his assistants Thomas Kristl and Imre Szabics.

Why is this important for FC Zürich?

The dismissal of the coach had already been expected, as FC Zürich has not been able to get going this season. The Swiss champion is still winless in the Super League, with only two points from eight games, and is second from bottom in the table.
